We strongly condemn the US administration under Donald Trump for its on-going effort of intervention in Venezuela.

Alongside harsh sanctions which have hit the Venezuelan people hard, the US government has posed ongoing threats of military action and supported coup plots, including recognition of the un-elected self-proclaimed “Interim President” Juan Guaidó, against the Bolivarian government of Venezuela led by Nicolás Maduro.

The imperialist US and its allies have no interest in defending the democratic rights and wellbeing of the Venezuelan people, but only aim to control over the largest oil reserves in the world as well as to reverse all the social gains of Bolivarian Revolution.

We urge the US government to:

• Stop its threat of military intervention against Venezuela;
• Abandon its support for right-wing coup in Venezuela;
• Lift all sanctions against Venezuela.

We stand for peace and dialogue, and reject imperialist intervention in Venezuela.

Our solidarity is with the people of Venezuela in their struggle to resist imperialist intervention and to defend the democratic sovereignty of Bolivarian Venezuela.

We demand: No more war! No more coup! No more sanction! Hands off Venezuela NOW!
